DOUBLE BLADED FINGER BAR MOWER

Blades (blades and finger shaped cutters) of this hanged type mower shears grass and fodder plants by moving alternately and driven by PTO of tractor.

This machine consists of a front frame carrying 3-points linkage system and a main frame carrying transmission and mowing systems.

Front frame is made up of iron profile in square form, twisted as a half circle and connected to main frame made up of iron profile in rectangular form, from two points.

Safety system is made up of spring supported two iron plates and connected to right hand side of 3-points linkage from one end and to a lug welded to the frame from other end. In case of any obstacle, safety system pushes mowing system back in order to prevent any damage on blades and fingers.

Machine operates by sliding on 3 special shaped skids connected under mowing system and 1 more skid under directive plate located at empty part of mowing system. Driving coming from PTO transmits to mechanism with double eccentric by Belt-Pulley system and from double eccentric system to blades and finger cutters.

Mowing system consists of two parts. First part is the bar which carries blades. There are 22 blades on this bar. Second part is the bar which carries finger cutters. Totally 34 finger cutters are fixed by two bolts for every three fingers. Edges of blades and finger cutters are serrated.

Altering the machine from operating mode to road mode and adjusting the working height are all hydraulicly controlled. One way cylinder-piston mechanism used in hydraulic system. This allows a more precise and comfortable mowing.

For mowing system, four finger cutters are located to every three blades. There is a directive plate at outer side of mowing system which forming mowed crop into a longitudinal heap. This directive plate partly collects mowed grass and leaves on to the ground thus prevents the tractor crush it during second pass.
